To take my stress away, tea party is the way. We discovered the “Vanilla Cupcake Bakery” to celebrate our tea party. This bakery is popular for its cute atmosphere and the delicious cupcake as well.
Doll house theme! I love it
I love the life-sized dollhouse theme and it brings back my childhood memories. Surely kids will love to dine here because of its cute design.

It opens on 11:00 A.M and we arrived too early so we will just roam around at BGC.

Tea party for the meanies[/caption]
The ambiance is very comforting and it feels like home. The cozy couch, the colorful chandeliers, the pretty wall frames, the artificial flowers and the doll house atmosphere. I want to stay here to relax and have a cup of tea or to read a book while lazing on the couch.
May your dreams be as sweet as you are

Inside their comfort room
So long ...Vanilla Cupcake!
So here is my review:
The Food:
The food is great especially their Red Velvet Cupcake and I love it so much.
They had selections other than sweets
The food presentation is superb!
The Price:
Good enough for the price
The Service:
The bad thing is the staffs are lack in training, I understand maybe they are newbies. But they need to provide simple things like napkin, sugar & water so customer will not going to call them to ask.
We had a bad experience for having a reservation. We confirmed our reservation one day before until we arrived. There was a christening occasion on their Bakery and the Bakery is close. What the?? So we called them immediately and they’re explaining nonsense reason and obviously it’s their fault. So to avoid ruining our day we told them that we will be back on the afternoon at still hold our reservation.

Mt. Manalmon adventure
The amazing Mt. Manalmon river
Mt. Manalmon (Sitio Madlum, Brgy. Sibul, San Miguel)
Madlum Caves and River - The area is a UNESCO world heritage site Madlum River and Madlum Caves. The area is in barangay Madlum where Mount Manalmon, a hilly landscape, possess these novel landscapes of Madlum River (Manalmon River and Caves). The river is a snaky river with shallow clear water along the left side deepening to the right side. The rightmost portion has towering rock walls lining the riverside, past the walls are widening riverbanks with sandy shore.
I’m not a fan of hiking, I know it will make me feel really exhausted. It’s not on my bucket list either until I saw it to my friend’s photo on Facebook and I was amazed on the scenery of Mt. Manalmon. I heard that my office mates was planning a day hike there and I decided to count myself in.
The special about this place is you can do trekking, spelunking, bouldering experience, crossing the monkey bridge and also you can swim to Madlum river when you get fall.
The Trekking experience
The trail is perfect for beginners so that’s good for me. It takes 1 hour to get to the summit. Prepare your shoes to get wet because there is a stream on the trail.

jump shot!
The Spelunking experience
First time to experience the spelunking and I’m a little bit skeptical to do it. But according to our guide, it’s not as difficult as I’m thinking. So I convince my self to enter the creepy cave.
The boulders are slippery and dangerous if you’re not wearing the proper shoes. Everyone should bring their own headlamps on the way inside the cave and I do believe it is required. Expect to kiss the wall for this activity and ready to get very dirty. This is the most dangerous part of activity at Mt. Manalmon because were not required to wear the proper gear. The cave has lots of stalactites that can stab your skull and also some cliffs inside the cave and we need to be very careful because we don't know what can happen there so safety first is the priority. But I considered this my most favorite part of adventure at Mt. Manalmon.
made it to the other side of the cave
Crossing the Monkey Bridge
It looks like difficult at first. I tried it and it’s just easy! This is a must try if you’re going here. If you’re going to fall, expect to drop in 4ft river.
TIP:
- wear proper shoes
- bring more water along the way
- bring headlamps
- do not wear shorts
- you can bring gloves (to protect your hands inside the cave)
- avoid rainy season because its dangerous when its raining
- best time to hike is 6:00 am in the morning
How to get there:
Reaching Manalmon is by taking a bus to Cabanatuan, and then alighting at Brgy. Kamias, San Miguel, Bulacan. From there, you can ride tricycle going to Brgy. Madlum.
We rented a van that's why its cheaper. The more the merrier so plan your trip now. Thanks for reading my blog. Cheers!
