Palawan is hot peak destination for travelers right now. Maybe because of the “Underground River”. It’s my first time to visit Palawan and my happy feet cast me at Puerto Princesa. Underground river is not my choice because I have fear of caves so sorry for readers that looking forward for some blog about underground river.
Deep Forest Garden Inn
I booked a hotel at Deep Forest Garden inn. I choose this Hotel because it has pool and their rate is affordable (PHP 8,000 for 4 days/3 nights for 4 persons). This Hotel is owned by a foreigner.
The rooms at night
Hotel design – they have beautiful garden, lots of plants and trees everywhere, lights are stunning during night, they have animal statue that kids will love and they have hammock in some areas.
I love this giraffe
View from our room
The pool – the pool is not big but there is a pool bar which I like you can drink and sit there while swimming
Me the pool and the bar
Additional to our enjoyment is the chess pool
The Rooms – The room is average and clean. It’s not huge, has flat screen, telephone, mini refrigerator & mini bar
The restaurant – their restaurant is stunning at night because of the lights. It’s like a big alfresco secluded by plants and trees. But beware in some plants inside their restaurant because it’s a beehive. So if you don’t want to sting by a bee, watch out for the beehive.
Beware of this tree with beehive.. yikes
restaurant with alfresco design at night
Keisha in the restaurant waiting for the menu
yummy hamburger
The food – A little bit pricey but the servings can be split for two persons).
The Staff- too slow to deliver our orders.
The Hotel is just right for the price. Its great to relax here because of the garden atmosphere. I will come back here soon.
This hotel has partnership with a travel and tour agency and they have travel agency office inside the hotel.
I inquired about how much is their Palawan tour would cost?
Next blog is A Guide to a budgeted Palawan Tour
