One Manalo Place in the heart of Puerto Princesa, Palawan

If you're looking for a nice accommodation when planning a trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, One Manalo Place is must to stay. One Manalo place is a newly built modern hotel near in the Airport (approximately 3 mins).



We booked our Hotel few weeks before our arrival in Puerto Princesa and we confirmed our reservation with the Hotel so they will pick us from airport with their free transfer.



Upon arrival at the Hotel,we greeted by the friendly staff and they gave us our welcome drinks which is cucumber juice (honestly I hate cucumber)  cheers. Why most of the Hotels offering cucumber juice?

THE ROOM









The room was too small and also the bathroom as I expected. I booked their regular room so I don't need to expect too much. This is what I paid for.

THE POOL

The pool here is my favorite part. I really love their modern pool. It has from 4ft - 6ft deep as I think and it has seperate pool for kids which is perfect if you have a child.









THE RESTAURANT

They also have Aplaya restaurant if you want to dine there.They provided us complimentary breakfast buffet which is terrific! There are variety of food to choose from the buffet. The food is good and not too salty. And I think it is because its up to us to adjust our flavor preference. You can also request how to cook your egg (I love their omellete with ham and mushroom). They also have ala carte on the menu if you don't want their complimentary.


Aplaya Restaurant







After the guilty pleasure from the buffet, you can burn your calories to their gym. How spoiled is that? And its free. For a cheap price of the accommodation this is superb unlike other old Hotels with the same price sometimes higher without buffet, gym and very nice pool.



TIP: Should wear a proper gym shoes. They don't allowed if you will wear slippers. Bad for me, I don't have rubber shoes in my luggage.

OUTSIDE



If you want to go outside you can pamper yourself with their spa.

All in all my stay is very pleasant, my family enjoyed the resort facilities especially the swimming pool. We love this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

So here is the verdict base on my point of view:

PROS:

• The Hotel rates are very affordable


• The Hotel has minimalist design which I like and feels like home


• The Hotel is near to the airport


• The Hotel is near to some restaurants (HAIM Chicken Inato & Captain Ribs)


• They have a gym (need to wear proper shoes)


• They don’t charge corkage fee even I ordered food from outside


• The staff are very nice, friendly and accommodating


• The pool is warm even its rainy season

CONS

• The rooms are too small (that’s why it’s very affordable)


• The bathroom is too small as well


• The complimentary breakfast is buffet (but limited selections)

I booked this Hotel because I think this is the most affordable for its value and of course this is new compared to other Hotels. Good thing I'm not disappointed with my choice. I've been to different Hotels in puerto princesa so now, One Manalo is on the top of my list.
